I’ve been looking forward to photographing this wedding for ages. It seems like I met Nathan & Abbie such a long time ago and it has taken ages for their wedding day to arrive, although, for them, I am sure it has come around pretty quick! The last time I was at Dunston Hall was a couple of years back, I remember it well as I almost got knocked out by a golf ball trying to get a picture of the back of the venue by standing on the edge of the golf course. Probably not the smartest of ideas but the best photos usually come from strange or risky places.

Nathan & Abbie are truly a lovely couple and I enjoyed every minute of the day I spent with them, I was especially pleased to on my arrival to Elmswell Church see the Audi R8 Nathan had hired for him and his Groomsmen to arrive in. I had to remember what I was there to do and not get carried away with such an awesome sight. There was a bit of an Audi theme to the wedding with the car chosen for the couple’s departure from Elmswell to Dunston Hall being an A4. I was slightly shocked that even though I managed to get away 15 minutes in front of them, they made it to the hotel 10 minutes before me! Never the less, the day passed without a hitch and finished with some cracking shots of the couple outside the front of Dunston Hall light by floodlights and the moon peeping through the clouds.
