I think this season has opened with the worst run of weather I’ve encountered to date. If it’s not raining, the ground is just too damp or it’s too windy. This was all encountered a couple of weekends ago at Thorpeness Country Club in Aldeburgh. It’s always a logistical nightmare to organise group shots in this type of scenario, made even worse by being on the coast!

So imagine my surprise when all of a sudden the sun came out!… “Everyone outside!” I will always opt to hold out in the hope the weather clears just enough to get any group shots and bride &

groom shots done outside. But regardless of the weather, I will always be out there capturing everything as it happens, just to ensure nothing is missed.

Below is a classic example of what can actually be achieved on miserable day, all it takes is a little patience, rock solid organisation and of course a good experienced photographer!
